    • Assists qualifying clients to meet their basic needs such as food assistance, utilities, housing, employment, prescriptions and other supportive services. Area churches, businesses and individuals donate funds to support these programs.

    • The Alliance Family Reading and Math Center provides integrated, family-centered educational programs to families with young children. Parents learn to develop their own literacy and math skills and in turn can assist their children to succeed in school.

  • Community Services of Stark County, Inc. Prescription Assistance Program: 330 821-7478

    • It is possible to receive assistance with prescriptions by applying for Medicare Part D and extra assistance through Social Security. The program may assist with applying for assistance through Social Security and may also assist with applying for assistance through manufacturers.

  • Good Samaritan Community Health Center: 330 821-3961

    • This center is focused in improving the health and well being of our community with quality health care, particularly to the uninsured and under insured. Medical and dental services are available.

  • YWCA of Alliance: 330 829-2895 or 330 821-1840

    • Designed to provide services to enhance the quality of life for women, girls, youth and families, its services include youth activities, career clothing, transitional housing, Meals on Wheels and other support services.

  • Appleseed Project: 330 829-0673

    • This project is a collaborative effort of the Neighborhood Center and its partners. It provides after school activities in education, health and wellness and physical growth.

  • Mount Union College -a community partner

    • The college provides student volunteer and internship support with staff supervision for all Alliance Neighborhood Center agencies.
